Improving the mobile experience to ensure invoices are created, sent and payments received.
InvoiceSimple - a Vancouver-based startup supporting small businesses with estimates, invoicing and managing documents - requested feedback to improve the experience and increase conversions through the mobile app. When freelancers and contractors use the app, payments are made outside the service, often through cash, cheque, or bank transfer, so InvoiceSimple intended to add that value.
We developed wireframes to improve interactions to create, issue and manage invoices from the Android app. Additional improvements included notifications (mobile push and email sequences), and an updated visual design that allowed whitelabelling. KPI's for the project were to increase the percent of invoices marked "paid", increase the percent of invoices with accurate information and improve the experience related to recording payments.
